Apple officially announced their massive autumn lineup of hardware at their annual September keynote event at the Steve Jobs Theater. From long-awaited battery leaps to the company's very first foldable device, here is everything Apple announced.
1. The iPhone Duo: Apple's First Foldable Smartphone
Apple unveiled their long-anticipated foldable phone, the iPhone Duo on the historic night of the keynote event.
The Displays: The device features a wide 7.6-inch inner Super Retina XDR display paired with a 5.4-inch outer screen. When opened, it is the thinnest iPhone Apple has ever produced.
Power & Build: Constructed from Grade 5 Titanium and tough ceramic shielding, the Duo runs on Apple's powerful new A20 Pro chip.
Multitasking: With iOS updates for dual-screen setups, users can comfortably run multiple apps at the same time. The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999.
2. iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max
For users who want to stick to traditional form factors, iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max bring in heavy-hitting hardware upgrades, performance boosts and a new color palette.
Design & Finishes: The Pro models are available in four striking finishes: black, silver, glacier and an all-new burgundy.
Camera Upgrades: The lineup brings in a brand new 48MP Fusion Main camera equipped with a variable aperture, giving mobile creators deeper manual control over depth of field, exposure and lighting.
Performance & Battery: Powered by the A20 Pro chip and an advanced internal vapor chamber for better thermal cooling, the phones deliver sustained high performance. Apple highlights that the iPhone 18 Pro Max has the longest battery life ever built into an iPhone, pushing up to 45 hours of video playback.
3. Wearables and Audio: Apple Watch Series 12, Ultra 4 and AirPods 5
Apple also updated their ecosystem of accessories with health-focused wearables and next-generation audio tech:
Apple Watch Series 12 & Ultra 4: Featuring the new S11 chip and an advanced Health Sensing System, these watches have frequent heart rate tracking, deeper sleep and vital analysis and a new daily readiness score. Battery life spans up to 24 hours for the Series 12 and up to 50 hours for the rugged Ultra 4.
AirPods 5: The latest earbuds have built-in Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) designed to cancel out 50% more outside sound. They also bring in hands-free Siri AI interactions, Adaptive EQ and head-movement tracking controls.
